New Corinth-Holders H. S. program
Jimmy McNamara is the new head coach at the new Corinth-Holders High School in Johnston County. He is looking for individual tournaments as it is a first year program. They will have 9th and 10th graders the first year and add 11th and 12th graders in the years to come. Will start off as a 2A but probably end up as a 3A eventually. The school existed from early 20th century through 1969 then it was consolidated with SSS. They adopted the same colors, purple and gold, and pirates mascot as the original school. Lenny Plummer to coach at Edenton Holmes
Lenny Plummer is coming back as wrestling coach at John A. Holmes HS in Edenton after a 3 year retirement from the sport. He needs help in scheduling some matches and tournaments. Contact him at lplummer1@gmail.com
New Coach at Wilson Fike
Sheldon Vick has been appointed the Head Coach of the Fike Wrestling Team. He was a state champion at Hunt High Shool in 93. He would like to receive infomation and get connected with the coaches and area wrestling programs. He is looking forward to the upcoming season and can be contacted at coachvick74@gmail.com
