Live streaming video coverage planned for 2010 NWCA All-Star Classic
Can’t make it to Fresno, California for the 2010 NWCA All-Star Classic? Don’t worry — the event can come to you. Live streaming video coverage of the 45th edition of the November 21 event, pitting the top-ranked collegiate wrestlers in each weight class, will be available on LiveSportsVideo.com on a pay-per-view basis for $7.00. In keeping with the mission of the 2010 NWCA All-Star Classic — to help save college wrestling in the state of California — all proceeds from this year’s webcast will go directly to the Save California Wrestling Fund. The broadcast, which begins at 2 pm Pacific time on Sunday, November 21 will feature an All-Star announcing team, consisting of Scott Casber of Takedown Wrestling Media (TDR), as well as Olympic silver medalist and three-time NCAA Division I champ Stephen Abas, and 2001 NCAA champion Adam Tirapelle, both California natives.
