Cornell & Penn State share Southern Scuffle title
GREENSBORO, N.C. – After two days of wrestling and 958 matches, Cornell and Penn State each claimed a share of the 2010 UNCG Southern Scuffle championship as each team earned 151.5 points during the two days. The Big Red and Nittany Lions each won three individual titles as Kyle Dake, Justin Kerber and Cam Simaz won titles for Cornell, while David Taylor, Ed Ruth and Cameron Wade each won titles for Penn State. 149-pounder Ivan Lopouchanski was the lone UNCG wrestler to place in the tournament, as he came away with a fifth-place finish. Byron Sigmon and Caylor Williams also advanced to day two for the Spartans, but both fell one match short of placing in the tournament.
