East Carolina University Wrestling Club
Newly formed ECU Wrestling Club has held workouts this spring on a borrowed mat and should be putting in the order for a new 42×42 on Tuesday. Should be a competing club team this fall/winter. ECU now has a recognized club team yet this is not widely known. They appreciate publicity for the formation of this team. Milt Sherman is the faculty advisor and can be contacted at shermanm@ecu.edu Any potential athletes for the upcoming year (or the following year) should send him their name, phone number including area code, and email address to be added to our email newsletter.

After 20 seasons of publicizing wrestling The TakeDown Report’s (TDR) focus has changed to the collecting of college coaching records from North America since 1903. We will continue to recognize and reward successful wrestlers in eastern North Carolina (east of Raleigh & Fayetteville), assist with schools in starting or re-starting a team and this blog.
