Looking for Old Coaching Records
In our on-going project to catalog, collect and assemble the dual meet records of every college and every college team and their head coaches. One of the obstacles is when coaches with the same or similar name are listed at different schools at different times. Many times evidence is found that they are the same person. Yet we are still looking for some confirmation that they following are coaches who coached at two different schools. We are asking for evidence and information on the following coaches.
Bob Antonacci at Oregon State 1947-1950 and Robert J. Antonacci at Univ. of Chicago 1951-1952 Bob Bennett of Augustana (Illinois) 1954-1955 and Bob Bennett at Southern Oregon St 1959-1964 Mike Connor of George Mason 1980-1985 and Wisconsin- Superior State 1989-1991.
We have found that there were three schools with a coach named Bob Davis. The same coach was at Carson-Newman 1963-1965 and Tennessee University 1969-1974 yet a different Bob Davis was the coach at Sioux Falls College 1966-1968. We will continue to post the names of coaches with incomplete records and hope to generate some information and response from other wrestling fans.
