Wrestling Hall of Fame
The Inductions for the National Wrestling Hall of Fame – North Carolina chapter will be in Chapel Hill at the Friday Center on Sunday May 15th. This is a great chance to interact with many of the top coaches of today and yesterday. This year’s inductees will be:
Gordy Patrick (of West Carteret H.S.)
Greg Hardin (Eastern Randolph)
Wayne Barker (Eden Morehead)
R.L. & Arlene Lail (West Rowan)
Norman Osteen (Strong & Courageous/North Henderson/Edneyville)
all of the above for “Lifetime Service to Wrestling”
Congressman Robert Brawley will be inducted as an “Outstanding American”
This will be the 14th “Hall of Fame Day” for the North Carolina chapter. The inductees will be permanently recognized at the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
