Colorado Mesa Adds Women’s Wrestling
TDR Notes; Great to see another school adding wrestling. One of 12 new Women’s programs starting in the fall. Yet this announcement focuses on “being the only one in the conference and the sport has less than 50 Women’s teams.” I think they should have focused on the growth of the sport.

College Championships
TDR Editor’s Notes; Last weekend the Junior colleges had their national championships tournament. This weekend the ACC will be held at UNC in Chapel Hill with matches to start at 11:00. Other Division I conferences and Regional tournaments for Divisions II and III will be held to determine the qualifiers for their National Championships. Divsion II will be in Cedar Falls on the 8th & 9th while Division III will be in Cleveland on the same days. The Division I Nationals will also be in Cleveland but a week later. These events are well covered and fans will easily seek out information about these events. With that said we explain why we direct our efforts towards other wrestling stories that get less notice yet are significant to the growth of our sport.
