CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte wrestling team has released its schedule for the upcoming 2018-2019 season. This season marks the program’s first year in NCAA Division II and first year as a member of the newly-formed South Atlantic Conference Carolinas. “We’re excited for our first full season of competition in Division II with the new Super Region format,” said Royals head coach Rob Tate. “We are thrilled to be a part of the newly formed SACC, which will prove itself to be highly competitive immediately in the sport of wrestling.” The Royals open the season on the road as participants in the Patriot Open hosted by the University of the Cumberlands on Nov. 3. Queens will then face Ouachita Baptist University and Gardner-Webb University in a tri-meet on Nov. 10, and compete at the Wolfpack Open hosted by North Carolina State University on Nov. 18.
