Diabe Named SoCon Wrestler of the Week
BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State’s Randall Diabe has been named the Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week following his win by major decision against No. 15 North Carolina on Sunday.
A senior from Greensboro, N.C., Diabe recorded four takedowns en route to a 10-2 victory against UNC’s Hunter Queen. The win pushed his record this season to 10-3 overall and 3-1 in dual matches, as he also claimed a victory against then-No. 15 Rutgers.
