Defending champ Cary leads first wrestling poll
Raleigh, N.C. — This year marks the first season that HighSchoolOT.com will be providing dual-team wrestling rankings. Defending 4A champ Cary leads the way, followed by 3A runner-up Orange and 1A champ Rosewood. Croatan, the returning 2A runner-up, ranks eighth. This week’s rankings do not take into account any results from this past week. Wrestling rankings will be updated weekly. Here is the first poll of the season along with records from last year:

4. Cape Fear (15-1)
5. Purnell Swett (21-3)
6. West Brunswick (21-3)
7. West Carteret (28-5)
8. Croatan (13-3)
