NW Guilford holds off Laney in final bout to claim 4A wrestling title

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Northwest Guilford Vikings captured the 4A N.C. High School Athletic Association dual wrestling championship on Saturday in Greensboro as they defeated the Laney Buccaneers by a 33-27 score. Despite falling short in the end, Laney got off to a good start.
