CHSAA sanctions three new sports for 2020-21 season
For the first time since 1998, Colorado will have a new sanctioned high school sport. Three, in fact. Colorado High School Activities Association voted Wednesday to add boys volleyball, girls wrestling and unified bowling. Each sport will begin play during the 2020-21 season. Boys volleyball will play in the spring, girls wrestling in the winter and unified bowling across the fall and winter seasons. The area already has a strong contingent of girls wrestlers, evidenced by Loveland qualifying four of its seven wrestlers in February’s Colorado High School Girls Wrestling Championship.
