GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Limestone College Athletics Department and head coach Brandy Green have announced the addition of 2008 Olympic Bronze medalist Randi Miller as an assistant coach for the Women’s Wrestling program, effective immediately. Miller joins the Saints after spending time with the United States Army National Guard as a member of their World Class Athlete Program and as a Water Treatment Specialist.  The WCAP is a program specifically designed to allow top-ranked Soldier-athletes to perform at the international level while also serving their country in the military.

During her time with the WCAP, Miller served as an assistant wrestling coach at MacMurray College.  While there she worked intensively with the athletes teaching various techniques and skills while giving them critical feedback.  She also routinely sparred with the athletes to increase their abilities and skills. Perhaps the largest section of Miller’s resume was devoted to her time as a professional athlete with U.S.A. Wrestling. In addition to her bronze medal at the 2008 Olympics, Miller was the 2008 and 2014 U.S. Senior National Champion at the 69 kg weight class.  She was also the 2014 Military World Champion as well as a member of the U.S. World Team the same year.   She was also a senior level American athlete for ten-years.
