NC STATE WRESTLING: Wolfpack Ascends to No. 5 in NWCA Coaches Poll

NC State is in road action this weekend, Friday at Drexel and Saturday at Hofstra
RALEIGH, N.C. – After a 29-12 home win over No. 12 Princeton this past weekend, the NC State wrestling team has moved up one spot in this week’s NWCA Coaches Poll, and now is ranked fifth nationally. The Wolfpack jumped into the top-five of the NWCA Coaches Poll for the first time since Jan. 9, 2018. NC State has been ranked in the top-10 in the Coaches Poll for 67 straight polls dating back over five seasons, after having not been ranked in the top-10 at all since 1993. In the national rankings on other wrestling websites, NC State is No. 2 this week in the dual rankings on InterMat and No. 3 according to WIN Magazine. NC State is one of just three teams that is still undefeated (Iowa, Virginia Tech).
