Topsail Wrestling Rolls Past South Brunswick to Claim MEC  3A Conference Title
The Topsail Wrestling Duel Team has Won the 3A Mid Eastern Conference for the First time under Coach Wes Whitman. With a win last night over South Brunswick the Pirates went undefeated against 3A Mid Eastern Conference Opponents. Topsail secured a coveted spot for the state Duel Team Tournament with 9 wins. Pirates wins came By Freshman Ethan Blevins 24 second Pin, Sophomore Lucas Cotta 30 second Pin,  Sophomore Jake Mackleer 3rd period Pin, Danny Arredondo Decision, Fastest Pin of the day 20 seconds Alex Hopper, Sean Longo received a forfeit, Senior Tristan Allison decision, Junior Joey Kimberling Decision,  Senior Ty Brown Decision. Iron Man award for the match goes to Steven Gazeway.  Every Wrestler on the team has contributed along the way to the 3A Conference Title.
