UNC WRESTLING ANNOUNCES YOUTH CLINIC BEFORE ARIZONA STATE DUAL
Carolina Wrestling has announced that it will hold a free youth clinic in Carmichael Arena on Sunday, February 23rd before the team’s 2:00 p.m. dual against Arizona State. The clinic will run from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and is open to grades K-8. The event’s counselors will be members of the Carolina Wrestling program, providing unique skill and technique over the hour in Carmichael. Doors to the clinic will open at 11:30 a.m. at the Hooker Fields entrance of Carmichael Arena, where attendees will be directed to the mats. TAR HEELS SET TO FINISH ACC SCHEDULE WITH VIRGINIA DUAL
No. 8 North Carolina finishes up its ACC schedule this weekend when it travels to Charlottesville to battle Virginia Friday at 7:00 p.m. EST. The dual will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. UNC (13-2, 3-1) enters Friday night’s dual with the Cavaliers (8-5, 1-3) following a strong team performance last weekend. CHAPEL HILL — No. 8 North Carolina won a pair of duals in Carmichael Arena this weekend as a part of the team’s 2020 Alumni Weekend. Sacred Heart Sweeps Double Dual Taking Wins Against Davidson and Cal Baptist

Belmont-Abbey Crusaders Defeat Coker 24-14 on Senior Day
BELMONT, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey wrestling team captured their eighth win of the season defeating Coker 24-14. The Abbey improves to 4-1 on South Atlantic Conference Carolinas action. Coker is now 6-3 with a 2-2 league record. BELMONT-ABBEY Crusaders First in Conference With 19-18 Win Over Limestone
GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Belmont Abbey wrestling team defeated the 20th ranked Limestone Saints 19-18 to move to the top of the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas standings Wednesday evening.  Michael Siwiec came away with the winning decision in the final bout of the match to help earn the win for The Abbey. BELMONT-ABBEY Crusaders Earn Four Wins at Shippensburg
SHIPPENSBURG, PA. –  The Belmont Abbey wrestling team swept its competition as the collected four wins at the Shippensburg Duals. The Crusaders earned their second victory over a top 20 team defeating No. 17 Shippensburg 25-24 in the final dual. Greg Hilliard and Mitchell Dean went 4-0 on the day as Dean earned a victory over Jojo Ganzalez, ranked sixth in the nation. BELMONT-ABBEY Crusaders Finish Regular Season With League-Best Record
BRISTOL, TENN. – The Belmont Abbey wrestling team finished off the regular season with a 39-12 victory over King Thursday. The Crusaders finished the season with a 14-4 record and a 6-1 South Atlantic Conference Carolinas record. The Abbey is currently in first place in the league and can finish tied for the best record. UNC-Pembroke Wins 2019-20 Mountain East Conference Championship
WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – Nick Daggett (125 pounds), Tyler Makosy (149), Kaleb Warner (165), Garrett Hill (174) and Nick Kee (197) all claimed titles in their respective weight classes to help lead the UNC Pembroke wrestling team to the 2019-20 Mountain East Conference Championship on Saturday in West Liberty University’s ASRC Complex.  
The performance marked the second conference crown in three years for the Braves who also captured the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) regular season title in 2017-18. UNC-PembrokeWrestling Pitches Wednesday Shutout At Lander
GREENWOOD, S.C. – The UNC Pembroke wrestling team registered 19 takedowns and seven nearfalls on the way to winning all 10 individual matches and posting a 43-0 shutout at Lander on Wednesday evening in Horne Arena.
It was the first shutout for the Braves (12-9) since a 50-0 home skunking of St. Andrews on Jan. 30, 2016, and the first road shutout for the Black & Gold in more than a decade. Carter Finishes Runner-Up At Newberry Open, Johnson 3rd

UNC-Pembroke Perfect In Rout Of Spartanburg Methodist

UNC-Pembroke Rolls Over Davis & Elkins
ELKINS, W.Va. – The UNC Pembroke wrestling team registered 30 takedowns and five nearfalls on the way to winning nine individual matchups on the night and rolling past Davis & Elkins, 40-6, in the regular season finale for both teams on Friday evening.  
The Braves used a forfeit win and three bonus-point triumphs to build a 21-0 lead by the midway point.
