Starting from the bottom, Chris Ayres has brought Princeton back atop the Ivy League
When Chris Ayres first got the job at Princeton, the Tigers were bad. Like losing to Division III teams bad. It took 14 years, but Princeton is finally on top of the Ivy League. After beating Cornell and snapping the Big Red’s 92-match Ivy League win streak, Princeton hoisted the Ivy champs banner for the first time since 1986. Builders Defend USCAA Crown. Johnson and Cortapasso Defend Titles
Lemont Furnace, PA- The Builder wrestling squad claimed their third straight USCAA National Invitational tournament title Sunday, crowning two individual champions and five runner-ups. Emory & Henry Hires Pete Hansen as Inaugural Head Coach
EMORY, Va. – Director of Athletics Anne Crutchfield has announced the hiring of Pete Hansen as the inaugural men’s and women’s wrestling coach at Emory & Henry College. WESTERVILLE, Ohio – On a night of emotional reflection yet also deserved celebration, the Otterbein wrestling program delivered a 31-12 redemption victory over Mount St. Joseph while celebrating its inaugural four-year senior class. The Cardinals, hosting their final home dual inside the Rike Center this season, recognized seven journeyman that helped resurrect the program as freshmen back in the fall of 2016. OSU Wrestling Finishes Season with Third Highest Average Attendance since 2006
Attendance is a topic I really enjoy diving into and writing about. Even more so when it’s trending in a better direction, and I’m happy to report more of that type of news after this weekend. Prior to Bedlam, I dug into the numbers and noted that OSU needed 6,269 attendees to average their third-highest attendance since 2006, the last year the Cowboys won a national title. #1 St. Cloud State claims NSIC crown with 27-3 victory over Augustana
The #1 St. Cloud State University wrestling team (16-0, 8-0 NSIC) claimed the outright Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference championship for 2019-20 with a 27-3 victory over Augustana University (10-4, 6-2 NSIC) on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at Halenbeck Hall in St. Cloud, Minn. Marauders Take Down #23 Wolves 20-16 In Competitive Dual
ABERDEEN, SD – The University of Mary wrestling team ended the season on a high note, downing the #23 Northern State Wolves by a score of 20-16. With tonight’s win, the Marauders finished the regular season on a four dual winning streak. No. 16 Ithaca Bests Cortland 31-9 at Rumble & Tumble Meet
ITHACA, N.Y. – The 16th-ranked Ithaca College wrestling team closed out its dual meet schedule on Wednesday night when it played host to the Rumble & Tumble Meet inside the Hill Center’s Ben Light Gymnasium. No. 11 Lehigh opens final regular season weekend with 35-9 win at Penn
PHILADELPHIA – In its next-to-last action of the dual season, No. 11 Lehigh posted a convincing 35-9 victory over Penn Thursday night at the Palestra. The Mountain Hawks won six of the eight contested bouts, with four bonus point wins on the way to their 10th consecutive dual win.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Vikings of Grand View (Iowa) secured the No. 1 spot in the final poll of season marking their 57th consecutive poll as No. 1 dating back to October 17, 2012.
