Emily (Webster) Tew

High school: Sedalia Smith-Cotton (Sedalia, Missouri)
Age: 27
High school and college credentials: Tew (maiden name Webster) was a four-time undefeated WCWA national champion (2012-15) at 101 pounds with a career college record of 118-0. She compiled a 74-44 high school record where she was a two-time state qualifier and a three-time Junior National champion.
International credentials: The 27-year-old won gold medals at the 2008 Cadet Pan American Championships and the 2011 Junior Pan American Championships.
Where is Tew now? Tew is teaching special education science and coaching in Los Alamos, New Mexico. She was inducted into the Oklahoma City University Athletics Hall of Fame in February.

Emily Shilson (Augsburg) – 109 pounds
Freshman Emily Shilson entered college as the No. 1 high school recruit in the nation with loads of international credentials. She won a gold medal at the Cadet World Championships in 2018 after winning silver in 2017. The Maple Grove, Minnesota, native also represented the United States at the 2019 U23 World Championships in October.
Alex Hedrick (Simon Fraser) – 123 pounds

High school and college credentials: Miracle won four WCWA titles (2015-18) at 136 pounds, just one of four women to accomplish the feat. She also qualified for the boys’ state wrestling championships in high school. International credentials: The 23-year-old made Cadet World teams in 2011 and 2012, Junior World Teams in 2014, 2015, and 2016, U23 World teams in 2017, 2018, and 2019, and a Senior World team in 2019. She owns a silver medal from the Cadet Worlds, two bronze medals from the Junior Worlds, and a silver medal from the U23 Worlds.
Where is Miracle now? Miracle currently trains with the Hawkeye Wrestling Club out of Iowa City in an attempt to make the 2020 Olympics at 62 kilograms.

High school and college credentials: Anthony made history by becoming the first wrestler to win four WCWA national titles (2010, 2011, 2013, and 2014).
International credentials: The 28-year-old won Junior World titles in 2009 and 2010 and placed fifth at the 2013 and 2017 Senior World Championships and the 2008 Junior Worlds. She also competed at the 2012 and 2013 World University Games.

NWCA releases NCAA women’s rankings prior to National Collegiate Women’s Nationals at Adrian this weekend
The NWCA has released its final rankings of teams and individuals, leading into the First Annual Cliff Keen National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships (NCWWC) in Adrian, Mich. on March 6-7. As was in the previous ranking, McKendree is the No. 1 team in the dual meet rankings, while Simon Fraser is the No. 1 team in tournament team rankings. The No. 1 ranked wrestling going into the national championships are Jaclyn McNichols of King (101), Emily Shilson of Augsburg (109), Karla Godinez-Gonzalez of Simon Fraser (116), Nicole Depa of Simon Fraser (130), Emma Bruntil of McKendree (136), Ana Godinez-Gonzalez of Simon Fraser (143), Alyvia Fiske of Simon Fraser (155), Korinahe Bullock of McKendree (170) and Sydnee Kimber of McKendree (191).
