ST. LOUIS TO HOST NCAA DI WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS THIS WEEK AT ENTERPRISE CENTER FOR NINTH TIME SINCE 2000

                 ST. LOUIS – March 16, 2021 – St. Louis will host the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships Thursday through Saturday (March 18-20) at Enterprise Center. This marks the ninth time since 2000 the event has taken place in the Gateway City. The St. Louis Sports Commission and University of Missouri will serve as co-hosts for the event.This is the second NCAA championship to take place in St. Louis this month. The NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships were held last weekend at America’s Center with 132 student-athletes competing. The NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships will feature 330 student-athletes vying for national titles in 10 weight classes and an overall team national championship.The St. Louis Sports Commission, Enterprise Center and the NCAA have been working with (and will continue working with) the City of St. Louis Department of Health on protocols and procedures to make the health and safety of everyone at the Championships the top priority.Due to COVID-19 restrictions a limited number of tickets were allocated to the participating schools for the three-day event. The NCAA will have no additional public ticket sales for this year’s Championships.The health of the student-athletes, coaches, fans, and event and support staff is an ongoing priority of the NCAA and its member institutions.
