TDR announces the ‘Big Award’ winners for the delayed 2021 season.
The 2020-2021 season is the 20th year in which the TDR has recognized wrestlers with trophies to recognize them as the best of the best in eastern North Carolina.
25th James Johnson Memorial Award goes to River Carroll (170) of West Carteret H.S. at V.M.I. now
30th Michael Stokes Award goes to Jayleen Bullock of Wilson Fike
23rd Lee Carroll Award to Logan Tortual of Rosewood
21st & 22nd Roy Heverly Awards go to of Mark Samuel (120) of Laney and Caleb Beatty (195) of Wake Forest. Beatty is just a sophomore and could repeat in this award next year as Samuel has garnered his 2nd Heverly Award.
