Laney wrestlers presented State Champions rings

The Laney High School wrestlers were presented state championship rings last week at a Team celebration. The team repeated as 4A State Champions with three Champions, four other placers among the 12 team state qualifiers.

State Champion Alex Hopper with the Roy Heverly Award presented from The TakeDown Report.

Undefeated Senior State Champions Devon Bell (182) and Mark Samuel (126) with their James Johnson Awards as the most Outstanding Seniors in eastern North Carolina.
