North Carolina University TRIO VICTORIOUS AT F&M OPEN
LANCASTER, PA. – The trio of Gavin Kane, Lachlan McNeil and Austin O’Connor paced the No. 25-ranked North Carolina wrestling program at the 10th Annual David H. Lehman F&M Open, hosted by Franklin & Marshall College.
The trio fueled the North Carolina effort on the day, which saw 10 Tar Heels place in the event.
UNC saw runner-up performances by Jayden Scott (149) and Jack Wagner (125), as Spencer Moore (125) also finished top-three in his respective class. Wil Guida (149), Joey Mazzara (165), Cade Lautt (197) and Max Shaw (197) rounded out the day for the Tar Heels placing in the event.
The Tar Heels return to action tomorrow night, heading to the city of Brotherly Love for a dual matchup against No. 27 Penn. The matchup begins at 8 PM, and can be streamed live on ESPN+. … rest of story at GOheels.com/news/2023/1/6/wrestling-trio-victorious-at-f-m-open
