North Carolina’s Lachlan McNeil Named ACC Wrestler of the Week
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – North Carolina redshirt junior Lachlan McNeil was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Wrestler of the Week for Week 8, December 19-22.
Wrestling at 149 pounds, McNeil went 3-0 for the Tar Heels over three dual matches at the Collegiate Wrestling Duals in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday, December 21.
The Toronto, Ontario, native started his day at the College Wrestling Duals with an 8-2 decision over No. 12 Dylan D’Emilio of No. 5 Ohio State, picking up one of the four wins for the Tar Heels in the match.
