Davis Named Southern Conference Wrestler of The Week
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Redshirt freshman T.K. Davis of the Gardner-Webb University wrestling team has been named Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week for the week of December 11th through the 17th. The Rockmart, Ga. native went 3-0 in the 133-pound weight class in this past weekend’s Kent State quad meet, highlighted by an 11-6 decision over reigning Big Ten Champion and All-American Dylan Shawver of Rutgers, who came into the match ranked No. 9 in the country for his division.
