Lock Haven Crowned 2025 MAC Wrestling Champions
TRENTON, NJ – The Lock Haven Bald Eagles put up a tough fight to take home the 2025 MAC Wrestling Championship on Saturday evening at the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, NJ. This is the third tournament title for Head Coach Scott Moore and the Bald Eagles in four years.
No. 1 seeds Anthony Noto (133) and Wyatt Henson (141) and No. 2 seed Gavin Hoffman (285) soared to individual championships at their respective weight classes. Noto claimed his fourth title in as many years after defeating Sean Spidle from Central Michigan in a 5-2 decision. He is also a three-time 125 lbs. champion. Henson went 4-0 on the weekend to claim his title, while Henson upset No.1 seed Jordan Greer (Ohio) in an 8-3 decision in the title match.
Edinboro’s Matt Hill was named MAC Coach of the Year, after leading his team to a third-place finish with 97.5 team points and a runner-up finish by Jared McGill in the 184 lbs. title match.
