TDR Editor’s Notes ; The first day’s matches ended with Penn State having just 39.5 points which may be a record for the first day as he 10 Nitany Lions won all 20 matches. The real race will be who comes in 2nd. Nebraska leads Oklahoma State by 1 point so far. The Cornhuskers seek one of the trophies for the top 4 teams. Their best previous finish was 3rd in 1993 and 4th place finishes three imes in 1984, 208 & 2009. Oklahoma State leads all schools with 34 titles since the 1920s. Almost all teams have been overshadowedd by the dominance of Penn State in recent years. As one might imagine that in Philadelphia we are surrounded by the fans cheering “We are ….” the rest of that cheer is known to all who have heard it yelled across an arena. Will post more later.
