Scotti Sentes Named Executive Director of the Wrestlers in Business Network (WIBN)

MANHEIM, PA — The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) is proud to announce that Scotti Sentes has been appointed the new Executive Director of the Wrestlers in Business Network (WIBN). This national peer networking initiative connects wrestling alums with career opportunities, business development pathways, and reinvestment strategies for the sport.
Sentes joins WIBN after a highly successful tenure as head wrestling coach at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC, where he led the program to four conference championships and coached 27 NCAA qualifiers. His leadership extended far beyond the mat—spearheading donor campaigns that raised over $150,000 annually and forging innovative partnerships.
“Scotti brings a unique blend of business acumen, coaching excellence, and a deep passion for wrestling,” said NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer. “His ability to connect with stakeholders, scale national initiatives, and drive strategic growth makes him the ideal person to lead the WIBN into its next chapter.”
In his new role, Sentes will oversee national programming aimed at building and leveraging a talent-rich pipeline of high school and college wrestlers, fostering career placement opportunities, and expanding WIBN chapters nationwide. His responsibilities will include employer engagement, chapter development, fundraising strategy, and integration of WIBN initiatives across the NWCA’s coaching education programs.
Sentes will be based at the NWCA Headquarters in Manheim, PA. Real American Freestyle wrestling to debut at Cleveland’s Wolstein Center with Olympic medalists

Real American Freestyle wrestling’s inaugural event will be held at the 13,000-seat Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio on Aug. 30, commissioner Hulk Hogan said in a statement. “Cleveland is an incredible city, and Real American Freestyle is channeling its rock and roll style into this first event,” he said.
The first set of matches and the location for the new promotion’s first event were announced Wednesday. The first two women’s matches are American Olympic gold medalist Sarah Hildebrandt vs. Mexico’s Zeltzin Hernandez Guerra and American Olympic silver medalist Kennedy Blades vs. Mexico’s Alejandra Rivera Arriaga.
The men’s matches so far are Real Woods vs. Darrion Caldwell and Austin Gomez vs. Lance Palmer. The format will include eight men’s and four women’s matches.
