NCAA champions Jesse Mendez and Lucas Byrd delivered dominant performances, while Yonger Bastida and Zack Ryder turned heads with convincing victories. 
One of the night’s biggest moments came when Ty Watters scored a sudden-victory takedown over Daniel Cardenas with a slick slide-by foot sweep straight out of Helen Maroulis’ playbook.
