Huskers Win Fourth-Straight Navy Classic Title
Five Huskers claimed individual titles at the 2025 Navy Classic on Sunday, driving Nebraska to win its fourth-straight team title with 144 points.
Individually, Brock Hardy (141), Antrell Taylor (157), LJ Araujo (165), Christopher Minto (174) and Silas Allred (184) won their respective weight classes.
Eleven of the 15 competing Huskers placed, with Camden McDanel (197) capturing the runner-up finish, Jacob Van Dee (133) finishing third and Harley Andrews (285), Hayden Mills (133) and Kael Lauridsen (125) finishing in fifth. Freshman Tyler Eise (174) came in sixth in his first Navy Classic appearance.
Hardy, Taylor, Minto and Allred completed back-to-back individual titles. Both Hardy and Allred faced top-25 opponents in the final. No. 2 Hardy won in a decision (4-3) over No. 15 Dylan Chappell of Bucknell while Allred defeated No. 19 Malachi DuVall of George Mason in a decision (SV-1, 9-6) to collect his title. The redshirt freshman Araujo collected two decisions, a major decision and a technical fall to garner first place.
The Big Red finished first out of 10 teams, as Pittsburgh (126 points) finished second and Navy (95.5 points) finished in third.
