Wrestling Defeats Greensboro College, Falls To #21 North Carolina

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – UNC Pembroke picked up a 48-0 win over Greensboro College, but fell 49-0 to #21 North Carolina in non-conference dual action Friday afternoon at Carmichael Arena.
Eighth-ranked Logan Robinson and Cristian Hercules-Pleitez each recorded pins, while Don Edwards, 13th-ranked Keegan Roberson, Nick Williams, and Quintez Shipman each picked up tech. fall wins. Avery Buonocore added a major decision to round out the bonus-point wins.
The Black & Gold will be back in action November 22 as they head to Harrogate, Tenn. for Conference Carolinas duals against King and Lincoln Memorial.

Cooper Davis earned a forfeit win at 125 pounds to make it 6-0, while Logan Robinson followed with a first-period pin in the 133-pound bout to make it 12-0. Don Edwards (141 pounds), Avery Buonocore (149), Keegan Roberson (157), and Nick Williams (165) all picked up bonus-point wins to stretch the lead to 31-0.
