#8 North Carolina State Downs Duke 32-7 in Durham

DURHAM, N.C. – Eighth-ranked NC State wrestling (14-4, 5-1 ACC) downed Duke 32-7 in Durham for its final conference and road dual of the season.
NC State wrestling improved to 14-4 and 5-1 in conference action Friday night with a 32-7 win over Duke in Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham.
The Pack won eight of the 10 bouts, only facing losses at 125 and 174 lbs. Seven of the eight were able to secure bonus point wins.
Despite starting on the losing side of the scoreboard at 125 lbs, the Pack then went on to tally wins at the next five weight classes to build up a 21-3 lead.
Isaac Trumble at heavyweight recorded the lone ranked win for the red-and-white over No. 23 Connor Barket, who was a 2025 NCAA Qualifier. The win improves the sixth-year veteran to 13-0 on the season with his ninth bonus point victory.
