Conference Carolinas announces 2026 men’s wrestling championship bracket
GREENVILLE, S.C. – The bracket for the Conference Carolinas Men’s Wrestling Championship was unveiled following the conclusion of the conference regular season on Tuesday.
The 2026 Conference Carolinas Men’s Wrestling Championship will be held on Sunday, February 15. East Division champion UNC Pembroke will serve as the host for the championship at Lumbee Guaranty Bank Court in Pembroke, North Carolina.
The championship opens with the semifinals at 11:00 a.m. pitting host and east division top seed UNC Pembroke against west division second seed University of Montevallo. The other semifinal features west division top seed Lander University and east division second seed Belmont Abbey College.
The winners meet for the title at 3:00 p.m.
UNC Pembroke went 8-2 in Conference Carolinas duals this season, including a 6-0 mark in East Division matches to take the division and hosting privileges. The 24th-ranked Braves finished the regular season 15-4 overall. Belmont Abbey followed with a 5-1 divisional record, going 8-2 in league duals and 8-5 overall. The Crusaders are receiving votes in the latest NWCA Poll.
In the west, Lander went 7-0 in the division and 10-0 in Conference Carolinas duals to earn the top seed while Montevallo posted a division record of 6-1 and a league mark of 9-2.
