Presbyterian College Goes 14-0 in Day One of Regional Tournament, All Ten Wrestlers Advance
FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The fifth-ranked Presbyterian College women’s wrestling team was quite literally perfect on Friday afternoon in the first two rounds of the Southeast Region Championships, qualifying all 10 competitors to the Semifinals tomorrow.
PC wrestled 14 times and never lost, off to a tremendous start in their pursuit of a second consecutive Region title. Two new rules for the first season of women’s wrestling under the NCAA banner: teams can only qualify a maximum of 10 to Nationals next month and the Regional bracket is split up into two days.
