We’re almost halfway through the first month of 2026! From here on out, the majority of the action will be in dual meet competition. Almost all of the DI action this week will come via duals. A total of 49 duals will be contested. Since it can be difficult to figure out where and when to watch all of these events, InterMat has put together a list of all of the live-streamed events occurring this week. Huskers Take Down No. 9 Minnesota
With a key pin from Antrell Taylor to give the Huskers an extra six points, the No. 6 Nebraska wrestling team (9-3, 2-0 Big Ten) earned a 20-12 victory over No. 9 Minnesota (7-3, 1-1 Big Ten) on Friday night. The top-10 matchup opened at 125, where Alan Koehler dropped a 4-1 decision to No. 9 Jore Volk. The Huskers responded at 133 as No. 9 Jacob Van Dee collected his ninth straight dual victory, using an early escape to secure a 1-0 decision over Brandon Morvari.
With the team score tied at 3-3, true freshman Jake Hockaday made his first career Husker start at 141, stepping in to give Brock Hardy a midseason rest. Hockaday battled throughout the bout, but No. 10 Vance VomBaur pulled away with a late takedown to earn a 7-2 decision.
At 149, Nikade Zinkin battled it out with No. 25 Drew Roberts, scoring three escapes before falling by decision, 6-3, giving Minnesota a 9-3 lead.
The Big Red answered at 157 as fifth-ranked Antrell Taylor faced No. 19 Charlie Millard. The pair were scoreless through the first period before exchanging escapes in the second. Trailing 5-3 in the third after Millard secured a takedown, Taylor delivered a dominant finish, scoring a takedown in the final seconds and turning it into a match tying pin to even the team score, 9-9. The pin marked Taylor’s third of the season and second consecutive dual decided by fall.
After the intermission, No. 8 LJ Araujo kept the Huskers’ momentum rolling, recording a pair of takedowns and escapes while adding riding time to secure a 9-2 decision over No. 11 Andrew Sparks.
Next, No. 6 Christopher Minto faced No. 22 Ethan Riddle. Minto recorded a takedown in each period to control the bout and earn an 11-4 decision victory. Nittany Lions Dominate Hawkeyes 32-3 as Penn State Wrestling Captures B1G Road Win
IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Penn State Nittany Lions (8-0, 2-0 B1G) dominated home-standing Iowa (8-3, 1-1 B1G) in a Big Ten dual meet in Iowa City on Friday night. Penn State won nearly every bout on its way to a 32-3 victory on the Hawkeyes’ mat.
Penn State, with a line-up featuring six underclassmen, won nine of ten bouts including three bonus point wins. Eight of the ten match-ups featured two ranked wrestlers with 18 ranked individuals competing. The dual began at 125. Sophomore Luke Lilledahl, ranked No. 2 at 125, dominated No. 6 Dean Peterson. Lilledahl tallied the bouts only three takedowns in a strong 11-5 victory. True freshman Marcus Blaze, ranked No. 4 at 133, turned a second period takedown into a thrilling 4-2 win over Iowa senior No. 8 Drake Ayla. Blaze’s win gave Penn State an early 6-0 lead.
Junior Braeden Davis, ranked No. 7 at 141, lost a hard fought 3-2 decision to No. 11 Nassir Bailey, cutting the Nittany Lion lead to 6-3. Junior Shayne Van Ness, ranked No. 1 at 149, used a furious third period to major No. 17 Ryder Block. Van Ness used a takedown and four back points to roll to the 13-4 win. True freshman PJ Duke, ranked No. 3 at 157, used a third period escape and takedown to notch a hard fought 4-2 win over No. 12 Jordan Williams. Penn State led 13-3 at halftime.
Junior Mitchell Mesenbrink, ranked No. 1 at 165, posting a convincing 11-2 major over No. 3 Michael Caliendo. No. 12 North Carolina Controls Virginia, 25-10
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Technical falls from Jake Dailey and Robert Platt fueled the 12th-ranked North Carolina wrestling team (8-1, 1-0 ACC) over Virginia (8-5, 1-1 ACC), 25-10, Friday evening.
With the win, the Tar Heels have now won eight of their last nine Atlantic Coast Conference openers, and nine-straight meetings over the Cavaliers.
On the night, seven Tar Heels were victorious. In addition to Dailey and Platt’s bonus-point wins, Ethan Oakley (133), Luke Simcox (141), Laird Root (157), Bryce Hepner (165) and Nolan Neves (285) claimed decisions for the visiting Tar Heels.
Beginning at 141-pounds, the first five bouts of the evening resulting in decisions, with Simcox and Hepner claiming victories for the Tar Heels, as Root secured a ranked victory in-between.
Following back-to-back technical falls for Dailey and Platt, Neves returned to the mat at heavyweight for Carolina, posting two last-minute takedowns to build his lead out to 7-2.
Closing the night at 133-pounds, a reversal and three nearfall points in period two swung the momentum in Oakley’s favor, en route to the 8-1 victory. #8 North Carolina State Wolfpack Dominates CSU Bakersfield in California
GILROY, Calif. – Eighth-ranked NC State wrestling added another win to go 2-0 in their trip to the West Coast. The Wolfpack dominated CSU Bakersfield by a 43-3 score in a neutral-site on Sunday afternoon. NC State wrestling secured its 11th win of the season after defeating CSU Bakersfield 43-3 in a neutral-site dual on Sunday afternoon. The Pack won nine of the 10 bouts, with eight being delivered with bonus points. Collectively, the squad tallied two falls, four by technical fall, and two major decisions. Freshman Jason Kwaak stepped into the lineup for the second time this season, this time competing at 157 lbs, and found a win over his opponent.
Closing out the dual, Isaac Trumble tallied his fourth fall from this season alone, improving to seven of his nine bouts being bonus point wins.

Newberry Wolves Dominate the Mat: Newberry Men’s Wrestling Defeats Coker 29-15
HARTSVILLE, SC – The Newberry College Wolves men’s wrestling team delivered a complete performance on Thursday night, earning a 29-15 dual victory over Coker University and showcasing depth from top to bottom of the lineup.
The Wolves jumped out to an early lead at 125 pounds, where Ricky Springs set the tone with an offensive-heavy effort, securing a 17-1 technical fall at 5:33 to put Newberry up 5-0. Momentum continued at 133 as Hunter McCullough needed just 3:39 to pin Weston Bare, extending the Wolves’ lead and igniting the Newberry bench. At 141, Ben Guilliam stayed composed in a tight bout, earning a 4-2 decision to give the Wolves a commanding early advantage.
Coker answered back in the middle weights, picking up wins at 149 and 157 to narrow the gap, but Newberry quickly regained control. #8 North Carolina State Guts Out a 21-20 Win Over #24 Stanford
PALO ALTO, Calif. – Eighth-ranked NC State wrestling edged past 24th-ranked Stanford 21-20 Friday night in the Pack’s first-ever trip to The Farm. In a fiery conference competition, NC State crept past Stanford just barely in the squad’s second ACC dual of the season to move 10-3 overall and 2-0 in the ACC. Coming out with a bang, sixth-year veteran No. 12 Ryan Jack at 141 lbs pinned #17 Jack Consiglio to immediately put the Pack up 6-0 off the bat.
Following up with a statement win, fifth-ranked Koy Buesgens at 149 lbs collected a major decision over ninth-ranked Aden Valencia. Continuing to show his growth in the off-season, the redshirt-sophomore improves to 15-1 in his second career campaign.
After dropping the match at 157 lbs, freshman standout No. 16 Will Denny at 165 lbs snagged a tight 6-5 win, followed up by a decision by fifth-ranked Matty Singleton at 174 lbs as well, to put the team score at 16-5. NC State then faced back-to-back losses at 184 and 197 lbs to allow the Cardinal to creep back in, 16-14.
Reliable veteran Isaac Trumble, ranked second in the country at heavyweight, provided much-needed bonus points with a technical fall. Averett remains undefeated in ODAC with victory over Greensboro
Greensboro, N.C. — Averett University men’s wrestling remains undefeated in conference play after a 42-6 victory over Greensboro College on Thursday night.
Averett (12-8, 4-0 ODAC) jumped out to an early lead with back-to-back forfeits at 125 and 133 pounds as juniors Dominic Pascoe and A.J. Orlando III each picked up automatic wins, giving the Cougars a 12-0 advantage over Greensboro (0-5, 0-1 ODAC).
Fifth year senior Mauricio Reyes followed at 141 pounds with an 11-3 major decision over Ivan Benitez. At 149 pounds, senior Landon Neal earned a 13-7 decision over Josue DelCid. Junior Carter Shupert needed just 55 seconds to pin Carson Gardner at 157 pounds.

The short story: The No. 1 ranked Roanoke College wrestling team earned extra points in every weight class Thursday night and rolled to a 53-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference win at Shenandoah University.
How it happened:
*Three Maroons won by pin on the night: Ryan Saunders (125 in 2:24), Brock Sullivan (184 in 4:18) and Cam Cavins (285 in 3:15).
*Jake Yowell scored a 16-0 technical fall victory at 141. Jackson Rowling (149), Bailey Wilman (157), Cade Parent (165) and Lorenzo Pellot-Vázquez (197) also had technical falls.

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa – University of Northern Iowa’s UNI-Dome
The short story: The No. 6 ranked Roanoke College wrestling team defeated the top two teams in the nation Saturday to win the NWCA/USMC Multi-Division National Dual Meet Championships, hosted by the University of Northern Iowa.
After two wins against ranked opponents Friday, the Maroons downed No. 2 Augsburg 23-11 in the semifinals. RC led 9-8 against No. 1 Wartburg in the finals after five of the 10 matches, but Cade Parent (7-5) at 165 pounds and Xavier Preston (18-7) at 174 scored important victories to push the lead to 16-8. Hunter Moore’s 8-5 win at 197 sealed the dual match victory and the team championship.

App. State Wrestling Remains Unbeaten in SoCon, Hits Road to VT on Friday
BOONE, N.C. — App State Wrestling won the first nine matches and remained unbeaten in SoCon duals with a 40-3 home victory against VMI on Thursday night.
The Mountaineers (5-4, 2-0 SoCon) are back in action Friday night with a trip to Blacksburg, Va., to face No. 7 Virginia Tech (5-2). The 7 p.m. dual will be held at the Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech and be streamed on ACCNX.
App State received bonus points in seven of its nine wins Thursday, going on a dominant run after true freshman Colt Campbell avenged an opening-weekend, overtime loss to Beau Lewis by prevailing 6-4 at 174 pounds thanks to a first-period takedown and then a third-period reversal with his riding time about to drop under a minute. Lewis got in on a late shot but couldn’t secure a go-ahead takedown in the closing seconds.
