Your record of Mike Edwards is incorrect. I was a member of the Winston Salem State team from 1973 to 1975. We had two coaches during that time. Edwards did not arrive at WSSU until the late 1970s. You can check the Black College Sports Encyclopedia and it has his tenure in it. Baxter Holman coached the first team at WSSU in 1973. He was followed by Wynn Headley, who coached my junior and senior years.
