Paul Morina wins 700th match as Paulsboro captures 32nd state wrestling title

TDR Ed’s Notes; – Our Congratulations to Morina in New Jersey.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
It seems like just yesterday that Paul Morina won his 600th match as Paulsboro High School head wrestling coach. And while it wasn’t that recent, it was only four years ago. On Sunday, Morina captured No. 700 as the Red Raiders won their New Jersey record 32nd state title and fourth straight overall with a 63-3 victory over Kittatinny in the NJSIAA/Rothman Orthopaedics Group 1 final. Morina is 700-43-4 in his 34-year career. The Red Raiders have lost just three times in their last 103 matches. “I didn’t even know until this week how many wins I had,” said Morina. “If you stay focused on what’s in front of you all that other stuff falls in place. These state championships are what’s important. It’s important for the kids, this group of seniors never lost a state championship and that’s special.” Rest of the Story at http://highschoolsports.nj.com/news/article/-3931531305094258363/paul-morina-wins-700th-match-as-paulsboro-captures-32nd-state-title/?mc_cid=43fb0bb18d&mc_eid=2ef7cbca4b
