Freshman Caleb Tatad took sixth-place in his first college tournament at the 125-pound division. Tatad defeated Will VomBaur of Utah Valley by decision before losing to another Utah Valley wrestler, Talen Eck.
Neiwert took third place for the 133-pound class by beating Noah Messman of Menlo College in the third-place match by decision.
