All-Time Junior College Coaches, Top 15 w/at least 40 wins {2021}

TDR Blog Post # 3018 (11/21/21)
Notes ; The following is our next list of top college head coaches. This is a list of coaches of Junior College teams across the country except schools in California, since they wrestle in a separate season. The coaches are ranked by dual meet wins. These lists includes coaches who retired in 2020 and some coaches that we have incomplete totals for them marked by (inc).  Current, active head coaches are marked in bold. Keeping track of the records of coaches of 2 year college teams is challenging as many programs wrestle few dual meets and others are shy about publicizing their records.  We welcome corrections and input so that the deserving coaches will be recognized.

Buies Creek biggest Camel spits truths and stockpiles talent, more guys better than advertised, and a trip for a quick Fall fling, au natural.

•1. The oldest saying in coaching is “don’t replace a legend, replace the guy who replaced the legend”. Walk us through replacing a legend (Cary Kolat) at Campbell, and if it’s different for you, why is it different?
•”Every head coaches mission should be to leave the program better than it was found. There is no doubt Cary left Campbell better than he found it. My goal and responsibility is to continue raising the bar and elevate the program to new heights. … rest of the story at https://morewrestlingplease.wordpress.com/2021/10/22/season-5-column-22-scotti-sentes-and-campbell-overlooked-underrated-141-197-bliss-in-arkansas-boston-mountains/?mc_cid=87f2468a95&mc_eid=2ef7cbca4b

A corner being turned in Boiling Springs, more guys to get excited about, and the news dumptruck empties this week.
10 Questions for Daniel Elliott and Gardner-Webb
•1. Gardner-Webb had one of the best end of season improvements of any team at last years SoCon tournament. How has your squad carried that forward?
•”We’ve talked a lot about how we can’t hang our hat (on being close) at the conference tournament as proof we’re going to be in the same situation this year without having to do the work to improve. We had eight in the semis of the SoCon Tournament last year and ended up losing all those matches. We lost two in overtime, two by one point and two by two points. We were right there with guys who won the tournament or qualified for the NCAAs but we didn’t get the job done. We then turned it around and won most of our matches in the consolations and showed a lot of character and grit which was awesome to see. We constantly talk about how being so close doesn’t mean we will be there this year and how just because we’re doing work doesn’t mean the others aren’t. … rest of story at https://morewrestlingplease.wordpress.com/2021/10/07/season-5-column-20-a-homegrown-hero-for-gardner-webb-125-174-overlooked-underrated-schedules-n-stuff/?mc_cid=1c475933f3&mc_eid=2ef7cbca4b
