California high school wrestling season moved to spring

The California high school wrestling season has been moved to the spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the California Interscholastic Federation announced Monday.

The CIF’s fall sports, like football, have been moved to the winter, while winter sports, which includes wrestling, will have their seasons pushed back to spring, with the state championships set for June.
